Rarity calculations are similar to those used by many other rarity sites. If you're interested in the theory behind the rarity calculations, this article gives a very good overview.

Each Mythical Mushroom is ranked by:

• Generating a combined rarity/name attribute based on the rarity attribute and the name, such as "Common Shittake".
• Assigning a score to this combined attribute based on the number of other Mytical Mushrooms with the same rarity/name combination. The exact formula is:
  attribute score = number minted / number with same value
• Ties are broken based on the total number of mushrooms with the same name in the collection (regardless of rarity).
• All custom Mythical Mushrooms are given a rank of 1. This is not based on the attributes they possess. The 6 custom Mushroom Zilla's are ranked next.
• The rest of the Mythical Mushrooms are ranked following the last of the customs, starting with the highest score (rarest) to lowest score (least rare).
